Standard Rooms Are Drab And Worn But Have A Very Comfortable And Clean Bed The Renovated Executive Rooms Are Much Nicer
The standard rooms, at 280 square feet fail to impress — but they have all the important basics. The beds have Sealy Posturepedic mattresses and there are work spaces in every room. Other amenities include 37-inch flat-screen TVs, clock radios, coffeemakers, in-room safes, and irons and ironing boards. Bathrooms are clean but dated, with shower/tub combos, hairdryers, and Pure by Gloss toiletries.
The renovated Executive Rooms are much nicer — featuring white leather beds, gray walls, and black furniture. It’s worth upgrading as the rooms also have 55-inch flat-screen TVs, Nespresso machines, marble walk-in showers, and pre-loaded tablets.

Based on its prime location, it is perhaps stating the obvious to mention that New Years Eve reservations are best made years in advance.

When we came back at 4pm we checked in and headed to our room. When we arrived to our room housekeeping was there. We asked how long until they would be done and we were told 1 hour. We went back to the front desk and asked if we could have a different room. We had a theater show we needed to get ready for. They told us they did not have another suite available. The manager told us that she would go help housekeeping with the room and it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Over an hour an half later we were finally able to get in the room. The bathroom had hair in the tub and shower. The soap and shampoo were empty. We only paid for one night so we just sucked it up and didnt complain. We visit NYC at least 2-3 times per year and like trying different hotels. I will never book this hotel again.

Nyc Is A Really Exciting Place
NYC is a really exciting place. The buzz is infectious . It was 4/5 years since I was last in NYC and I found that there was a greater edge / aggression in the air. Perhaps its the tail end effect of the COVID pandemic. . It was disappointing that some of the shopping locations were closed .Give the current dollar / euro exchange rate, there was little value to be found. This was further compounded by the fact that many of the main stores were stocking outdated / old stock. This was probably another remnant of the COVID pandemic, I hope so since shopping for the new season was traditionally a real draw for NYC.There was very little of real interest and value in Woodbury Common and so my advice to the readers is to give it a miss at the moment until the main stores in NYC have a full range of new season stock was one of the helicopter pilots for zip aviation was a real plus for us.We stayed in the Radio City Apartments. This accommodation is situated in a great central location. Its very clean, the staff are really nice. It felt safe. Some might find its decor a little dated but its safe and central location and its cleanliness certainly outweighed this for us.There was a great market on 6th Ave. It extended from 42nd to 49th on Saturday morning. Worth a visit.Waldys pizza on 28th / 6 ave has yummy pizza.

Great location!This hotel is a perfect location for NYC! Although the hotel is very dated and in need of a major face lift. Free Wifi would be helpful in the rooms and then the lobby wouldn’t get so crowded. The lifts are pretty rubbish too and had to wait around on many occasions to get to or from my room. The rooms are not very nice and not too clean either. I must admit I slept well Our toilet failed us on the last day and had to use the lobby toilets! The corridors were often untidy and the decoration leaves a lot to be desired! If it’s just a room to sleep whilst you tour the city then it’s perfect as the location is spot on! Steve HVery poor service I have booked a large family room 10 months ago. On the day of arrival , this was not available . Only after a lengthy discussion , I received it the next day . The first night we Stayed in a 2 man room with 5 people. We didn’t even get a compensation for that. The rooms are very much in need of renovation and very dirty. The lift there are long waiting times: 10-15 minutes are normal during the rush hours . The hotel does not deserve its name and is a bottomless impudence . Barracks rather applies here . Breakfast is also a stand-up bar at the main entrance , which is reasonable only with jacket in February. Only the location of the hotel is good. Here, I will not even turn back for free.

The hotel’s block, on 7th Avenue at West 51st Street, consists mainly of office buildings, a McDonald’s, a Starbucks, and a number of less-than-notable diners and bars. For great shopping and high-end dining, guests should check out Columbus Circle, a 10- to 15-minute walk north of the hotel.
Also within walking distance, there are several points of interest. Rockefeller Center, for shopping, ice-skating, and dining, is just five blocks away.
