I live one block away from this hotel. I will be staying there in a few weeks when my floor is under construction and will happily write a full review. But Trip Advisor says it’s an easy walk to the Met, Central Park and the Guggenheim. In fact, it’s over a mile to any of those and the real problem is there’s a long killer hill along the way. What there is, though, is a city bus a few steps away that will take you to Fifth Avenue in 15 minutes, where it’s an easy walk to any of those locations mentioned.

Worst most run down property of Marriott Bonvoy in the world

I am Marriott Bonvoy lifetime platinum elite and have stayed more then 750 nights with the Marriott Bonvoy properties all over the world in the last 20 years, j have never come across a more run down property, with extremely unhelpful and rude hotel staff, imagine they treat me like this so how will they treat an average client as I am their most premium client. Will never stay here again and will tell all my wide circle of friends, family and work colleagues.

Its very clean and nice hotel. Bathroom was clean, there is a hairdryer in the room and a huge TV. Also, you can totally survive without central AC at night, but its not too loud as well.

2nd Avenue subway really opens up that area of Manhattan. Stop is about two blocks away. 5th Avenue museums can be walked to.
