At first glance the Bronx seems a little scary but in truth we found it friendly and a great place to stay. The Opera House Hotel is elegant and incredible value for money and with the train line, buses and the subway only a few minutes away it’s really convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and found it a convenient base from which to explore New York.

Located at the intersection of Third Avenue and Weiher Court, the lot is near the Intervale Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Went there and needed to change my reservation to a day earlier. Very helpful staff. Great accommodations. Clean and budget conscious. Will be doing another sleep over soon.
Very clean. Shower amenities provided. Was a 1 day visit. Highly recommend considering it’s right next to 2 prominent bus stops.

New Yorkers have weathered the storm and it has changed them a bit, after 9/11 and Covid, my next door neighbor state is a bit mild. Im Jersey born and raised. You must come to the city and and vibe with these beautiful people. Sit with them and eat and drink with them. Hell even smoke with them. The food is incredible, the vibe is unmatched and the scenery is straight out of a movie. Best place to visit in the world by far is New York City!

“Decent stay, went for my bff birthday weekend. Didn’t wanna crowd her place so we did a room to be close to the crib and still catch the action. Staff wasn’t exactly welcoming, not surprised because of the area we were staying. Place was clean, moderate and the hotel room clean no issues. Place gets a lil turnt at night lol. Designed by Alexander Gorlin Architects and developed by Comunilife, the structure yields 148 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 57 units for residents at 40 to 60 percent of the area median income , ranging in eligible income from $17,898 to $72,060.
Amenities include 24-hour security, a shared laundry room, community room, and computer lounge for residents. There is also bike storage, a landscaped garden courtyard, and on-site social services. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
At 40 percent of the AMI, there are 17 studios with a monthly rent of $522 for incomes ranging from $17,898 to $42,720 and 12 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $665 for incomes ranging from $22,800 to $48,040.

. It had a lot of space very comfortable lots of food places in the neighborhood. Public transportation was close by . Equipped with microwave and a fridge inside the room,was a nice touch.
Rooms were nice. We had two side by side. Everything was stocked in the room appropriately. No weird smells. Staff was seen vacuuming halls and cleaning common areas. I was pleasantly impressed with the upkeep. Assessable to trains and front desk staff and security was helpful with questions.
The staff was excellent very friendly and accommodating
location was great in proximity to the Yankees Stadium.

Upon arrival the AM front desk agent was very accommodating I don’t remember the agent’s name. We had a Broadway Show to attend before the 3:00pm check-in. She offered to store our luggage, until we returned later that evening to check-in. We were a little apprehensive about leaving our luggage unattended. But the agent assured us that our luggage would be safe. And it was! Throughout, our stay the agent was friendly and provided great restaurant recommendations. Our room was very clean. Also, the breakfast attendant was very courteous and helpful.
