Man Hit With Pipe In Times Square Attack

One of the most perfect things to do in Times Square at night is to enjoy a drink with a date or friend right after a Broadway show. Enjoy happy hour at a few of our favorite bars while discussing your favorite moments from the performance.

We suggest Bond 45, a bar that boasts two large fireplace alcoves with built-in seating and a sunken patio in the center. If you stop by Bond 45, you have to try The Bond Cup, made with pineapple infused vodka, passion fruit, and lime.

Or, stop by the classic watering hole, Glass House Tavern, which is favored by actors after theyve taken their bows. Prior to curtain, its a welcome place for audience members to indulge after the show.

No matter what your favorite things to do in Times Square at night, NYC offers a large variety of bars, arcades, restaurants, shows and concerts to enjoy after 10:30 p.m.

Now that you have a list of things to do in Manhattan after your show, find last-minute Broadway tickets for you, a date or a friend. After you select a show, choose from the list of entertainment suggestions to enjoy once your performance is over.

If youre headed towards Greenwich Village and are still in the Broadway show vibe, sing your favorite songs from the performance or take part in some group singing.

Grab a shot of liquid courage at , a popular piano bar located at 59 Grove Street. If you love karaoke and classic bar drinks like Bud Light and mixed drinks, then this is the perfect piano bar for you.

Taylor Swift Debuting Midnights Lyrics On Billboards Around The World

At the height of Times Squares bad old days, prostitution, child exploitation and drugs were on every corner and there was so much blood-soaked violence, only Broadway was barely hanging on as a tourist destination.

The Crossroads of the World has long since cleaned up its act but experts say recent broad-daylight shootings in the tourist hub reflect a new crime wave thats beginning to envelop every pocket of the five boroughs even the ones that have long been considered safe.

The Times Square shootings are a wake-up call on how far things have deteriorated in the city, Randy Mastro, a former federal prosecutor and the deputy mayor under Rudy Giuliani, told The Post.

The latest shooting in Times Square is only going to feed the perception, if not the reality, that the city is far less safe.

Back in those original bad old days, the NYPD did not track shootings the way they do now only homicides and other major crimes. The Big Apples deadliest year in terms of crime was in 1990, when 2,245 murders were reported citywide, compared to 212 seen so far this year.

Christopher Herrmann, a shootings and homicide expert from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, said comparing the crime in the 1980s and 90s to the surge in shootings seen today is like comparing apples to autoparts but the gun violence is cause for concern.

Its just a numbers game youre going to get some, you know, events that normally dont happen, in places that normally dont have shootings.
