Our Favorite Mens Stores In Soho

6 Best Locally Owned Boutiques in SoHo

Shopping in SoHo can definitely be overwhelming due to the amount of stores. Typically, men dont like to go spend their money on clothing and its usually their significant other that does that for them. Its also a little bit more difficult finding clothes for men that isnt too simple or boring. These are some of our favorite stores in SoHo that have a nice collection for men.

  • J. Crew Mens Shop SoHo The J. Crew Mens shop carries everything youll need from shoes, suits to casual clothing. Their clothing fits are usually up-to-date and the style is very versatile. They usually have a great collection and you really cant go wrong here.
  • Aime Leon Dore Ok, so this is located right on the border of NoLita and SoHo but its in the area so well make an exception. Aime Leon Dore has some really stylish pieces but also has a classic feel to them. The quality of their fabric is exceptional as well. Its a brand thats continuing to gain popularity. Be prepared to spend some money here, but its well worth it. Oh, theres a cafe as well.
  • Saturdays NYC Its a surf shop that serves coffee but also has some really great mens pieces. The silhouettes and cuts on the clothes are great and the price point isnt too bad. We would compare the prices to J. Crew. Also, on a nice beautiful day , the back of the store has outdoor seating so you can enjoy the weather.

Cool Stores To Check Out In Soho New York City

We are living in a world where e-commerces are huge, and it has been a challenge to keep open retail stores mainly in New York, where the high price of rents ends up causing many businesses to close their doors. At the same time, having a fixed address in the city ends up being a showcase of the brand to the world. So, brands need to innovate. They can no longer sell the way it was sold earlier. The shops must be more than a space to exhibit products they must offer experiences for the consumer. Below, I list seven stores in Soho which are great examples of no obvious shops. For those who enjoy doing marketing, fashion, and trends research, these are good places to be visited.

    1. Gucci last May, Gucci opened a new store in New York City Soho and the place is huge: 10000 square-foot. The decor is beautiful and it features a 3D video display and screening room. This will be also the first Gucci store in the world to feature the new Gucci DIY assortment. Even if you cant afford the products, it is a must-see store, especially if you are a fashion lover!

The style of architecture was popular in the 1800s because a mold could be used to produce multiple pieces. However, the style fell out of fashion by the 1900s. Commerce Entertainment And Decline

By the mid-19th century, the early Federal– and Greek Revival-style homes were replaced by more-solid structures of masonry and cast iron, and along Broadway, large marble-skinned commercial establishments began to open, such as Lord & Taylor, Arnold Constable & Company and Tiffany & Company, as well as grand hotels such as the St. Nicholas and the Metropolitan. Theatres followed in their wake, and Broadway between Canal and Houston Streets became a lively theater and shopping district and the entertainment center of New York as usual with such areas, it was home to many brothels as well, and the side streets off of Broadway became the city’s red-light district. As this change in character drove out the middle-class, their place was taken by small manufacturing concerns, including cabinet-makers and the lumberyards that supplied them, brass and copper firms, makers of china and glassware, locksmiths, snuff manufacturers and book publishers.
