Check Out The Views From An Observation Deck
You may think that its not worth going to an observation deck when you can just go to a rooftop bar, but you do get a better view the higher you get. Especially, if you are visiting NYC for the first time, you should go to at least one observation deck.
My favorite view is looking out over Central Park from Top of the Rock
The top of the Empire State Building has played an important role in several romantic movies like Sleepless in Seattle, so that could be a good way to end your night. Personally, I think the views are best from Top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center because it gives you the best perspective on Central Park. You could also go to One World Observatory or the newest option, The Edge.
Note that some NYC tourist passes do include observation decks.
Go To A Broadway Show
One of the major Bucket List experiences in New York City is to see a Broadway Show. If you have a show in mind, be sure to make reservations in advance.
If youre on a budget, dont write off Broadway shows. You can actually find tickets for cheap on TodayTix or by following these tips.

Take A Graffiti Lesson

Another romantic thing to do in NYC is head to the High Line. Its true that there is not much green space in Manhattan. Thats why in 2009 the High Line was formed on the old New York Central Railroad platform on the west side of Manhattan. The High Line is a one and half a mile long elevated park where you can walk with your loved one and enjoy the wonderful outdoors in New York City. Its perfect for a romantic date on a nice day.
Theres also some great food, a coffee shop, and even a little bar along the walkway making it a great place to come for lunch. From the High Line, we suggest you head to the new Whitney location or check out the Chelsea Market. We love oysters and you can pick up some fresh ones at the Cull & Pistol oyster bar inside the market. In case youre wondering the High Line is one of the most romantic places in New York.

Row Boats In Central Park
There is nothing more romantic than spending a leisure summer afternoon boating on the lake in Central Park. The good news is that from May to September, 10:00 AM to dusk, Loeb Boathouse, located on the East side of the Park between 74th and 75th Streets, will begin to rent out rowboats and gondolas for only $15 per hour.
There are a $20 deposit and $4.00 for each additional 15 minutes beyond the hour. Each boat can hold up to 4 people. Also, the Loeb Boathouse is a lovely restaurant to stop for a refreshing cocktail or lunch.
