The American vocal group known as The Temptations had a remarkable career that took them from the streets of Detroit all the way to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Growing up, I was first introduced to the city through movies and TV shows based in New York.

I was obsessed with iconic sitcoms like Friends and Gossip Girl.

I imagined New York to be a place where anything could happen, and where your friends always lived nearby.
