Too spaced out The average traveler , only visits LIC, Flyshing, Astoria, and maybe Forest Hills and Elmhurst It might be too residential 4 average travelers. But, you will find great ethic food in East Elmhurst, Flushing, Astoria and Jackson Heights, You will find the Beach in Rockaway Hall of Science , and Other museums are available. Botanical Gardens Nice Parks Large shopping Mall Citi Field home of the NY Mets. Tennis stadium for concerts and history in Forest Hills.Forest Hills also has nice restaurants. There is Resort World for gambling in Rockaway There is good pizza. New Park Pizza is a long time favorite. But, its out of the way in Howard Beach. If you are going to JFK airport, you can make a stop. Its worth it. The subway is only good for some parts of queens

We were only there for a few hours sleep before our next flight. On the return leg of our trip, we had planned on spending the day in New York, but after a long flight with no sleep, we booked a day room again at the Hilton. We were so glad they had a room immediately available for us. We only needed it for 6 hours before our next

The air conditioner was so loud that it sounded like a plane engine taking off. The staff were very friendly. The shuttle in the morning let us off at the Delta terminal which was great.

Its a great area to be close to the city without being in the city. Just few stops away and close to la guardia airport as well. Just be careful of the hotels you choose we had an awful experience, theres a lot of places like Voyage hotel with butchered walls and beds, and stains in the sheets, and mold in the bathroom. They havent give us our money back yet. So be careful, since theres a lot places very similar and maybe from the same owner. But you can also find places like the Wyndham where you are totally safe and sleeping in a clean bed with great views and kind staff.

- Make your way to the subway and take a J or Z train toward Manhattan/Broad Street . The first Manhattan stop is at Delancey Street/Essex Street in the hip Lower East Side neighborhood, and the train continues on through Chinatown until Broad Street, right next to Wall Street. Taking the subway from Jamaica all the way to Broad Street would take about 50 minutes on the J train .

- If you’re going somewhere else in Manhattan, you’ll need to transfer trains at least once somewhere along the route. Use Google Maps or Apple Maps to type in the address of your destination. Either one should give you the best route that involves the least amount of transfers.
The New York City subway and AirTrain both run at all hours of the day, seven days a week. However, subways run less frequently late at night and you could be waiting for a while if your plane lands at 3 a.m. The trip might seem long, but it can actually be faster than a taxi if you’re commuting during rush hour. If you’re traveling with luggage, it might not be the most comfortable ride, so take that into account if you have more than one suitcase with you.
Using the subway may seem overwhelming, especially to someone who’s new to the city and doesn’t understand where to transfer, what express lines are, or which way is downtown and which way is uptown. However, every station is staffed with MTA employees who are there to help you. If you get to the station and feel utterly lost, just ask for help. - After making your way to the subway, get on the E train toward Manhattan/World Trade Center. The train goes through all of Queens and the first Manhattan stop is Lexington Avenue/53rd Street. The train continues downtown at 8th Avenue until its final stop at World Trade Center. If you were to take the subway all the way to the end, the trip would be about 50 minutes.
New Orleans Hotels Within Walking Distance Of The Cruise Terminal
Given the location of the cruise terminals in the heart of New Orleans, there are a number of hotels that are within walking distance meaning you dont even need a shuttle to get to your ship. Expect to pay a bit more to be in this location, but its worth it to be right next to the ships.
