Pm: Lunch At Julianas Pizza

There is no shortage of amazing pizza places in Brooklyn, and Julianas is one of the best. Some people even say that Julianas serves the best pizza in New York City.

We waited in line for about a half an hour for a table. On the menu are salads, pizzas, and pastas, as well as a variety of desserts.

The pizza is very good. Its similar to pizza you would get in Naples, Italy, with a thin crust, simple but delicious tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, basil, and a dash of olive oil. You can order the plain and simple margherita pizza or take your pick of toppings. Enjoy!

PRO TRAVEL TIP: After lunch, you will ride the East River Ferry to Williamsburg. The ferry runs roughly every 30 minutes during the summer and every 45 minutes in the winter. While at lunch, look up the next ferry so you know when to be at the Dumbo ferry station.

Brooklyn Like Much Of New York That I Saw Is In Need Of

Brooklyn, like much of New York that I saw, is in need of repair and upgrades. The sidewalks in many places are poor and we all tripped up at some point during the two weeks. It was dirty with lots of rubbish flying around and in heaps, uncollected. Manhattan was similar in many places. Eateries in Brooklyn were many and were hit and miss. I found one nice Greek Restaurant and a great diner near the Brooklyn Bridge called Park Plaza, highly recommended. The corner shop near our hotel was a cheap alternative for coffee, food and snacks. I used it most days and they were friendly and nice. I did a lot of walking in Brooklyn and for all the downsides it is charming and in many parts, beautiful. Prospect Park is lovely.

We enjoyed experiencing suburban life in Brooklyn. Loved the leafy lined streets and quiet compared to the city centre. The access to the subway was good as a visitor and relatively easy to use to get to the major attractions. Nice to step away from the chaos of the city or attractions once you have had enough. We sat and ate our meals on the front porch and enjoyed this experience.

Chief judges have administrative responsibilities with respect to their district court. Unlike the Supreme Court, where one justice is specifically nominated to be chief, the office of chief judge rotates among the district court judges. To be chief, a judge must have been in active service on the court for at least one year, be under the age of 65, and have not previously served as chief judge. A vacancy is filled by the judge highest in seniority among the group of qualified judges. The chief judge serves for a term of seven years or until age 70, whichever occurs first. The age restrictions are waived if no members of the court would otherwise be qualified for the position.
