The best way to truly experience New York is to stay in Manhattan, rather than trying to commute from the suburbs, which can be time consuming and a little tiring. The hotels mentioned below are all centrally located in Manhattan and close to many of the major attractions.

You can visit the Statue of Liberty Museum and climb the pedestal for incredible views. From there, its a quick ferry ride over to Ellis Island to explore the immigration museum and learn more about this gateway to America.

Regardless of your feelings for big banks and stewards of finance, Wall Street is a historic part of New York and world history which warrants it a visit. You also have the famous bull statue which makes for a great photo.
