Fans Now Believe That ‘lhhny’ Has Been Canceled For Good Despite No Official Word
If you ask LHHNY fans, the end has officially come for the series. On Nov. 17, 2021, Reality Entertainment TV shared a post that shows a screenshot of the LHHNY Wikipedia page. In particular, the post calls attention to the original release section that shows the dates March 6, 2011, to March 9, 2020 which are the air dates of the first and last episodes of the series.
Although neither VH1 nor showrunner Mona Scott Young has yet to announce the end of LHHNY, fans believe that it’s a wrap for the show. After all, Season 11 should have already been released by now.

The drama returns to the Big Apple when Love & Hip Hop New York Season 9 premieres on VH1 on Monday night. The reality series will mark the return of several cast memberssome of whom haven’t been seen on the show in more than four years.
The series’s longtime stars Yandy Smith and Rich Dollaz are back. The friends and music managers will both be sharing some of the plights their families faced over the last year with fans on the show. Luckily some of their old pals are slated to make their big comeback to LHHNY to give them a helping hand, including Joe Budden and Cyn Santana.
Budden, who joined the Season 3 cast in 2013, initially appeared on LHHNY with his ex-girlfriend, model Tahiry. His initial seasons on the show largely followed his road to recovery following his drug relapse in 2012 and his failed relationships, including a botched Times Square proposal to Tahiry in Season 4. Meanwhile, Santana, who also first appeared on LHHNY in 2013, was heavily involved in former cast member and ex-girlfriend Erica Mena’s storyline.
Now, Budden and Santana will appear on the show together as a couple as they raise their first child together.
A few new faces are expected to appear on the new season of LHHNY including New York rapper Maino and his longtime girlfriend Maggie Carrie.
The series kicks off at 9 p.m. ET on the VH1 network. Fans without access to television can stream the show on VH1’s website or on the VH1 app.

In the past, the franchise has followed a pretty predictable yearly schedule that includes the release of every season of the show toward the end of the year. According to TheCinemaholic, the VH1 reality show usually starts the season within the same year as the last season, thus releasing new episodes by the end of the year.
With these calculations, LHHNY should have premiered by the end of 2020. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and there still has not been any official release date or confirmation from VH1 about whether the show has been canceled or renewed.
If the series isn’t canceled and returns for another season, it’s likely that audiences will get another glimpse into the lives of castmate Chrissy Lampkin and rapper Jim Jones, who both walked away from the series after Season 2 and returned for Season 10.
