Mtley Cre And Def Leppard With Poison

If you grew up in the 1980s, you are no doubt familiar with the hair bands and heavy metal superstars that made that decade so wonderful. Many of those heavy metal babies now have babies of their own, and you will certainly see some of those kids as you revisit your own past at the upcoming Motley Crue and Def Leppard concert, a musical extravaganza that also features Poison.

No matter when they grew up, any self-respecting heavy metal fans would be thrilled to see any one of these bands on the stage, so the chance to see all three of them in the flesh is bound to be an exceptional, and highly memorable, experience. While these bands had their greatest success back when Ronald Reagan was president and nuclear obliteration was a very real possibility, the musicians involved have not been content to relive their glory days or rest on their laurels.

Indeed, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison have continued to rock out throughout the decades, augmenting the success of their 1980s personas with the more current fare, and thrilling their legions of old and new fans in the process. Whether you are old enough to remember these heavy metal superstars from their first time on the stage or come to their music much more recently, you will find a lot to love as they take the stage at the iconic, and huge, Citi Field in Queens. This New York City stop is part of the Motley Crue, Def Lepard, and Poison stadium tour, and fans are already making their plans and snapping up the best seats.

Looking Ahead To A Very Queer Year At The Movies

A boost in trans representation and bi role for Harry Styles

Dakota JohnsonSonoya Mizuno

Its only the first week of the new year and awards season has barely begun but before we dive headlong into the process of bestowing honors on the best movies of 2021, it seems like a good time to pause and take a look forward to the movies coming our way in 2022 specifically those with LGBTQ appeal.

There are plenty of reasons to be excited. After a year with zero trans representation on the big screen, the next one promises several offerings that not only feature trans characters, but put them front-and-center and thats not even counting the remake of queer author Clive Barkers Hellraiser with trans actress Jamie Clayton as Pinhead. There are also a plethora of same-sex romcoms, a notable increase in diversity among the leading players, and at least one high-profile title that hopes to help Hollywood make its tradition of bi-erasure a thing of the past.

Bad Bunny Talks Sexual Fluidity In New Interview

Bad Bunny Takes Over NYC with Surprise Mobile Concert

Rapper Bad Bunny has been a longtime LGBTQ ally, but hes never opened up about his own sexuality until now.

The Puerto Rican recording star, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, talked about the subject in an interview with the LA Times, saying that he sees himself, like many members of his generation, as fluid.

It does not define me, he says. At the end of the day, I dont know if in 20 years I will like a man. One never knows in life.

He goes on to add, But at the moment I am heterosexual and I like women.

The 25-year-old rapper, who is one of the most-streamed artists in the world, has long shown support for the LGBTQ community. His videos have included same-sex couples and transgender women he was a leader in protests against Puerto Ricos governor and his attitudes toward gender and sexuality, and on social media he has praised women who dont shave their body hair, called out a nail salon that would not serve him, and criticized reggaeton star Don Omar for making homophobic comments.

Homophobia in this day and age? he tweeted to Omar. How embarrassing, man.

In January, the release of his music video Caro prompted many to wonder if Bad Bunny himself was coming out. The video features the rapper getting his nails done while watching a fashion show before transforming into a female version of himself portrayed by model Jazmyne Joy. He later returns, kissing both his female self and another man.

A Lesbian Baby Boomers Relatable Story

Audacity of a Kiss a warm, familiar biography

The Audacity of a Kiss: A MemoirBy Leslie Cohen$24.95/235 pages

Dont move.

Stay entirely still, dont even breathe. Youre about to become a symbol of something thats bigger than you are, something youll be proud of for the rest of your days. Dont flinch, scratch, or sneeze, just dont do anything. Dont. Move. Unless its to turn the pages of The Audacity of a Kiss by Leslie Cohen.

Behind every statue is a story, and the one behind those representing four people in Christopher Park in New Yorks Greenwich Village is no different. But to explain how this monument came about means also telling a long love story and a tale about a nightclub.

Leslie Cohens mother was her very best friend, although there were misunderstandings in the relationship. Seven-year-old Leslie couldnt see why she received pink girly things for her birthday. In later years, she couldnt understand why her mother deferred to Leslies father and endured his abuse.

The one thing Cohen did understand was that once puberty hit, the boys in her neighborhood were no longer pals to roughhouse with. She was supposed to want to date them and it didnt entirely make sense, but Cohen went along with it even after she left home for college. She went out with boys and lost her virginity to one, but meeting Beth was the most remarkable thing about higher learning. She was sure she was in love with Beth, but Beth was obsessed with a boy and so Cohen moved on.

  • El Último Tour Del Mundo is the third solo studio album and fourth overall by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny. It was released on November 27, 2020, by Rimas Entertainment, only nine months after the release of his previous record YHLQMDLG, which achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim. Comprising sixteen tracks, it is primarily a Latin trap and reggaeton album infused with a variety of rock music styles, and features guest appearances from Jhay Cortez, Rosalía and Abra. The album’s title refers to how Bad Bunny imagined what his last concert tour would look like, as he imagined his final tour in the year 2032. The album was written and recorded during the COVID-19 quarantine and is a departure from Bad Bunny’s aggressive reggaetón sound. It became the first all-Spanish-language album to reach number one on the US Billboard 200. The album won Best Urban Music Album at the 22th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. “El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo” was the best selling Latin album in the United States of 2021.
