HOW TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY IN NEW YORK CITY

When Arkansas defense attorney Joe Foucha announced his move on Wednesday, Hog fans lit up social media with the assumption that an NIL offer from another school must be involved.

While Hog fans claim its all about the money, Oklahoma signatory Kobie McKenzie sent a message to the University of Texas saying it was less about the money and more about the substance of their football program.

When came to Lubbock, Texas had come the day before and their only selling point for me was money, McKenzie said in the briefing during an interview with the Hoover and Mayes show on 97.1 The Animal in Tulsa, and that just fitted not to me. I understand the possibilities in money. They were great, but how can we change this football program?

Well, in Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin changed the rebel football program. The only problem is that after a 10-win season, he doesnt seem to have enough money to keep his assistants.

Offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby nearly doubled his salary by going for the same job in Oklahoma.

DJ Durkin, whom Kiffin rescued from the bottom of the pits when he trained the hell behind seven electrified iron gates when firing on Maryland after one of Durkins players died of heat stroke during a practice session, appreciated the gesture. but is to Texas A& M to train in the same defensive coordinator role for a presumably hefty raise.

So whats the right approach?

To Be Happy In Nyc You Need To Make $220000

NEW YORK – If you want to know how much money you need to make to be happy living in New York City, the simple answer is a lot.

A survey from Purdue University and GoBankingRates.com found that you need an annual salary of $219,765 to be happy in New York City. It also found that people need to be making between $125,580 and $156,975 annually for their emotional well-being.

The study argued that the optimal amount of money it takes to be happy varies worldwide.

That might be surprising as what we see on TV and what advertisers tell us we need would indicate that there is no ceiling when it comes to how much money is needed for happiness, but we now see there are some thresholds, said Andrew T. Jebb, a doctoral student and the lead author of the Purdue University study, in a press release.

The research specifically sought to pinpoint the amount where money no longer changed a persons level of emotional well-being. Emotional well-being was measured according to a persons day-to-day emotions, including happy, excited, sad and angry.

The survey also found that in Los Angeles you need to earn $204,855 to be happy and you need to make a whopping $319,935 annually to be happy in San Francisco.

If you own a large piece of land, you may think of making money in real estate by renting it for small special events. Or, if you have the resources and space, you can offer additional amenities and earn additional profit.

The most common option real estate investors with large sections of developed land in rural areas utilize is making their land available to rent for outdoor weddings. However, before you hold an event, confirm that such events are allowed. You might be required to get a special permit for holding special events.

Oil is in the news again. While $4 per gallon gasoline may be a distant memory for some, a shock to oil markets could easily bring us back to those unpleasant days of a decade ago. There may be reasons to be jittery. Recent news stories are tracking attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities and other global events and how they might affect fuel prices. Stories about oil in other parts of the world make the news because the United States imports over 10 million barrels of oil per day. According to the Energy Information Administration, in 2017 we imported 9% of our oil from Saudi Arabia, 6% from Iraq, and 7% from Venezuela.

A recent development in New York City is now allowing citizens to take part in making a difference by saving fuel, raising awareness, and earning money at the same time. Sustainable Americas friend George Pakenham, creator of the movie Idle Threat: Man on Emission, successfully lobbied the New York City Council to pass legislation allowing citizens to file complaints against idling vehicles and pocket 25% of the fine, which can range from $350 to $2,000 for a repeat offense.

I just received word that a summons has been issued and a hearing date has been set. If the defendant pleads guilty, they just pay the fine. If they want to contest the ticket, they will need to show up for the hearing. If I am required to attend the hearing, I will be notified.

Not Living It Up On $100k A Year In Income In An Expensive City

As you can see from my example above, someone making $100,000 a year in New York City is NOT living it up. Going out once a week with friends is hardly excessive in a city that seriously never sleeps. He does his best to walk or utilize the subway and his entertainment budgets is pretty tiny for all the NYC has to offer.

At least he is contributing a good amount to his 401, which is crucial since he has nothing left in disposable income. Contributing to his 401 should result in over $200,000 in 10 years due to company match and conservative performance estimates. If he wasnt contributing heavily to his 401, hed have an extra $1,200 a month to spend.

Finding a decent one bedroom for under $3,000 is not particularly easy unless you know someone who has a rent controlled apartment. If you want to lead a less comfortable life, then you can find studios for around $2,000 a month.

But, are you really going to be happy still living like a college student making $100,000 a year? Probably not since youre closer to 30 than 20. Where are your parents, girlfriend, boyfriend, and relatives going to sleep? One solution is to find a significant other who is willing to split your $3,300 a month one bedroom cost.

The New York Times wants more subscribers. The Athletic has lots of subscribers but loses money.

So theres your two-sentence explanation of why the Times is paying $550 million in cash for the Athletic, the five-year-old sports news service.

And now we can go deeper on the newest round of media consolidation. Remember that in the last few months, BuzzFeed bought Complex, and Vox Media, which owns this site, acquired Group Nine. Like those deals, this one makes sense for both sides, up to a point. But the Times-Athletic deal also underlines the challenges both companies are facing right now. You can call it a chocolate-peanut butter combination, or you can call it a marriage of convenience. Or both.

Heres the upside of the deal for both companies:

The Times, which has transformed itself from a publisher supported by ads into a publisher supported by paid subscribers, enjoyed blockbuster growth during the Trump administration, and even thrived during the first summer of the pandemic. As a reward, the paper has $1 billion in cash and a stock price thats moved up 250 percent in the last five years which means it has the capacity to pay $550 million in cash for the Athletic, as Axios first reported.
