Find the most important information on all NYC Passes below. In terms of popularity, the Sightseeing Day Pass, New York Pass, Sightseeing Flex Pass, and Explorer Pass lead the list. Other available passes include CityPass, FreeSyle, Go Select, Turbopass, and C3 Pass. Just because some passes are more popular than others, however, does not necessarily mean that these are the best passes for you, too. Each pass has different strengths and weaknesses.

Admission To New York

Visiter New York pas cher avec les pass

We booked the pass for 3 days and it all worked great. We actually did not have to pay any more entrance in New York, it was practically everything included in the pass. Many sights even with Fast Lane, which was very helpful in August at the holiday season. This has helped us a lot and New York has become a great experience for us. I can only recommend to anyone. The only point to be considered is that for a booked day also some attractions must use, so the price is worth. So it’s good to have a free day in New York 🙂

New York Pass Price Comparison

Below you will see the price comparison between the New York Pass and without the NY Pass. You will see three prices which are: Full price , Price for students, and the price if you visit the museums on free admission days.

I have included only the main and most popular attractions, but keep in mind that I will be leaving out many places that are also worth visiting.

to see the complete list of attractions included in the New York Pass.

ATTRACTION
USD$317.35 USD$266.35

Lets suppose you decide to visit only the attractions on this list. In order to visit these 10 attractions you will need at least 3 or 4 days. The 3-day pass price is USD$204 or USD$276 and the 4-day pass price is USD$233 and USD$304 .

In conclusion: if you buy the New York Pass when its on sale it is definitely worth buying it. If you cant buy it with a discount, then it is still worth it compared to buying all the individual tickets for these attractions at a full price.

There is not a big difference compared with the price for students, althought its still worth it. But as you can see there is a big difference compared to the price of visiting museums on their free admission days and paying just USD$3 on those with pay as you wish entry. However you need to consider the crowds at museums if visiting on that days. With the New York Pass you can skip the line at many attractions and you will save a lot of time, so you need to take that into account when considering if its worth it.

How Much Do Tickets Cost

As we mentioned, if you plan out your day effectively, this isnt as much of an issue with the New York Pass as it is with other passes.

Even so, its worth noting that youll save a lot more money with this pass if you use it for as many expensive activities as possible while its active.

If most of the attractions you plan to visit are already affordable, you may want to consider a build-your-own-pass instead.

Traveller #: Seeing The Most Important Sights Quickly

If youd like to visit as many attractions as possible in New York in as little time as possible, weve put together a small example itinerary that you can be done in three days.

If youre really fast, you can probably even complete it in 2 days, but then itd be really stressful. So wed prefer to base it on 3 days.

For us, the following attractions are some of the highlights in New York:

Empire State Building Top of the Rock One World Observatory Two art museums, for example Met, MoMA or Guggenheim Boat ride, for example with Circle Line Total price: $223

Optional: Bike tour through Central Park with a rental bike Optional: Hop-on-Hop-off-Bus tour Total price with Hop-on-Hop-off-Bus und bike rental: $327

In retail sales, youd pay a total of $223 for the most important sights if you forgo the Hop-on-Hop-off-Busses and would rather explore Central Park by foot. If youd like to use the busses and to go through Central Park on a bike, youre up to $327.

Why isnt the Statue of Liberty included? We find that the Statue of Liberty isnt really worth it if you dont have a lot of time in New York. The trip to the island is relatively time consuming. So wed instead suggest a boat tour that also takes you very close to the statue. Thatll save time and is at least just as impressive.

In both of the following tables, weve listed how much youd save for all five passes both with and without a bus ticket and a bike rental.

Savings without Hop-on-Hop-off-Bus and bike rental:
