Darwin D Martin House Complex
Darwin and Isabelle Martin commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright to build a multi-structure complex in 1904, which he did at the height of his Prairie House era. It is considered by many to be his finest such work.
The house, located in Buffalo, is today open to the public and can be toured on either a Basic Tour or an In-Depth Tour, with guides who can direct viewers to the details and enhance visitors’ understanding of the structure. Portions of the estate that were torn down over the years are being reconstructed.

Treman State Park, where there’s a swimming hole next to the waterfall in the summer months.
Treetops a six-story treehouse behind the Cayuga Nature Center actually exists, and you can play inside and explore. There’s also a farmer’s market full of international cuisine in addition to the fresh produce.
Grab a bite to eat at College Town Bagel, and head to Cornell University’s campus to visit the A.D. White Library a stunning sight with well over 90,000 books, ceiling-high bookshelves and intricately designed metal walkaways.
If youre looking for a cozy, modern, centrally located hotel, Hotel Ithaca is affordable and within walking distance of some great things to do. Across the street, theres a sensational restaurant called Coltivare with amazing short ribs and color-changing cocktails. For something a little more rustic, check out Firelight Glamping. Will It Be Safe To Travel To New York In January 2022
I have a trip planned to US from January 17th, 2022 to Feb 12th, 2022. I am supposed to go from New york to Texas to California. Now, with the new covid variant and in the state NY is right now, will it be safe to go? I really don’t want to cancel and i am fully vaccinated as well. Any advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

This is very hard to predict. I expect an upsurge in the virus after the holidays, but beyond that, is just a guess.
If travel restrictions don’t change between now and your departure date, and City restrictions allow places to be open for tourism, then there is no reason to cancel, unless you have your own concerns, or you test positive for Covid.
This new variant is rampant, but hospitalisations are not rising at the moment, this could change any moment though, and is just conjecture on my part by reading various media outlets, and governmental datasets.
I’m going to Chicago on the 5th Jan for 5 nights, and will be in NYC on the 2nd March if the points above haven’t changed.. fingers crossed eh?

The Buttermilk Falls State Park is one of our favorite places to go upstate NY. Many lovely hiking trails lead to natural pools, streams, unique rock formations, gorges, and waterfalls. Visitors can even swim at the bottom of Buttermilk Falls but only when a lifeguard is present. Be sure to pay attention to any notices regarding trail conditions, Covid-19 restrictions, and other important news when you enter the park.
If you want more than a day trip to this beautiful spot, camp here in a tent or in a cabin. Buttermilk Falls State Park has both historic and modern cabins to choose from.

George Eastman House And The International Museum Of Photography And Film
The 50-room George Eastman mansion was completed in 1905 and originally included a stable, garage, barn, five greenhouses, and many gardens. Located in Rochester, the house has been restored to its appearance in the early 1900s, with photographs made by Eastman, as well as letters and notes that assisted in the restoration.

Go Tailgating In Buffalo
Now there might be a little bias here: Buffalo is my hometown, and to say I love it is an understatement. The city of good neighbors went through a serious glow-up phase over the last 10 years, and it’s filled with incredible architecture, such as the Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House and the art deco Buffalo Central Terminal.
Go zip-lining over the city at Buffalo Riverworks, or enjoy margaritas at Casa Azul or Breezy Burrito Bar in Elmwood Village, which is filled with local boutique shops and one of the best farmers markets the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers’ Market in the area.
If youre there in the fall, definitely try to grab tickets to a Buffalo Bills NFL game. The tailgate is an experience like no other, with a fanbase known for taking tailgating a little too farin the best way. Bear Mountain State Park
Theres a hike for everyone among Bear Mountains tranquil, woodsy trails, from the short loop around Brooks Lake to the more challenging four-mile segment of the Appalachian Trail. Most impressive is the steep, twisting trek to the Perkins Memorial Tower, from where youll have a stunning 360-degree vista of four states , the Big Apple skyline, Storm King Art Center, the Hudson Highlands and the Hudson River some 1,000 feet below. Statue Of Liberty And Ellis Island
The Statue of Liberty is the nation’s most iconic monument, a symbol of hope to millions of immigrants on their way to Ellis Island. Tourists can visit both attractions via a ferry operated by the National Park Service that meets passengers at Battery Park and runs continuous loops throughout the day.
The first stop is the statue, where visitors can enjoy views of both the monument and the New York City skyline at no charge. You can also purchase tickets to access the pedestal or crown, although crown passes sell out at least six months in advance. Be sure to wander through the museum in the base of the statue and check out the extensive educational signs, statues, and historic markers.
The ferry stops next at Ellis Island, where there is a museum on the first floor of the main building, an architectural masterpiece that once served as the main processing center and hospital from 1892 to 1954.
