Best Cheap Mid Budget And Luxury Hotels Near Central Park New York City

Central Park hotels are abundant but do tend to span the higher price point bracket. A budget hotel around Central Park could cost more than a Mid Range hotel in Times Square.

We stayed at 1 Central Hotel and it was fantastic. The materials of wood with wrought iron were elegant and relaxing. It reminded us of when we stayed in traditional Ryokans in Japan.

The Whitby Hotel has a 9.5 rating, which is the joint highest Booking.com rating in New York City . We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the Whitby Hotel bar area.

Amazing Citythat You Have To Visit Once In Your Life

Our Favorite Places to Visit in New York City

Amazing city, that you have to visit once in your life. Plan longer stay, because its so many things to see and do here. I spent two days in Met Museum only. I recomand you to go to the Park Line and Chelsea Market, you should visit DUMBO and If you have time Hoboken. The best part of NYC is Soho with cast iron buildings. I like everything about this city except you should keep in mind its expencive and easely you can spend 100$ a day.You can eat good food for less money in chain restaurant named Essen. The hotels are pricey also, especialy if you go there in spring time wich is best part of the year to visit.

  • Harlem, New York

Yolanda welcomed us and showed us everything. The two bedrooms on ground floor are huge. One faces street, the other the garden. We loved the comfy king size bed and the space. Our room was dark, but the windows are sound proof, the aircon was comfortable, and it was great to relax after busy days out and about. The upstair is beautifully restored and renovated, with a spacious fully equipped kitchen, dining and relaxing area. And then of course there’s the patio and little garden. The borough has a great vibe and we always felt safe. Central Park, Hudson River Park and bicycle rentals are close by. A wonderful oasis in Manhattan.

We stayed at AC Hotel for a night, which was great. It has a rooftop bar and affordable room rate. The Riu Plaza often runs discounted prices but our top pick for Times Square is CitizenM as long as you can get it at a good rate.

Top tip: If youre a photographer and cant afford to stay at Renaissance Times Square, go in to the lounge for a drink and youll get one of the most iconic views over Times Square.

Why Avoid Lower East Side

The transport links here arent great so if this is your first time in the city and youre hoping to see lots of the main tourist sights then this may be a bit of an awkward location. Its quite busy and crowded here and theres not a huge range of accommodation. It also generally looks run down and is quite residential in parts so it may not have the New York bright lights vibe many are looking for.
