Nestled right along the Niagara River leading out to Lake Erie is Beaver Island State Park. Beaver Island is a great place to catch some rays and lay in a rather smooth shore of sand. The beach has a few benches and gazebos along the pathway leading to it with convenient parking located directly behind.Once youre done with the beach, be sure to check out Beaver Islands disc golf and golf courses, playgrounds and marina for even more summer fun.

Looking for a more tranquil beach with a great atmosphere? Bennett Beach is your answer. The long trek from the parking lot to this beach is well worth working your way around, up and over sand dunes to get to your destination. Quite possibly the only negative to this one may be a slight lack of maintenance. Not to worry, though. The sand, while not the smoothest, shouldnt be a major problem, as it doesnt get in the way of your feet or, more importantly, the awesome view.
The beach isnt typically crowded and it might even make you feel like youre on a private beach.

Brighton Beach is one of the top beaches in Brooklyn, New York. If youre looking for a clean, uncrowded beach, with a unique charm, check this one out.
In the 1970s, Russian immigrants flocked to this part of Brooklyn, and their Eastern European influence is still apparent today in the bakeries, restaurants, and shops. There are endless activities, such as surfing or volleyball, and many may be spontaneously organized, amidst plenty of yummy food trucks along the boardwalk. Try the fish tacos, theyre always fresh and filling!

Fort Tilden Beach
This is the most deserted beach around, which makes it so utterly attractive for some. Its perfect for solitude, romance, or writing that best-selling novel!
During the week its basically empty and, even on weekends, youll only find a handful of people out and about. The lack of proper transportation to the beach is probably the main reason why people dont visit it in larger numbers, or might not even know about it. Its a bit of a process to reach it but, once there, its perfect.
However, it needs planning. Theres no food to be purchased in proximity, so you have to bring your own, which is only a small hindrance. Nothing that a trip to the grocery store the day before, or stopping along the way, cant solve!
Jacob Riis Park Beach

As one of New York’s most popular beaches, Coney Island has it all. This beach at the tip of Brooklyn is easily accessible by subway trains and has two amusement parks featuring the Cyclone roller coaster and a boardwalk, and the iconic Nathan’s Famous Hot dogs. The original Nathan’s Coney Island restaurant that opened in 1916 is still at the corner of Surf and Stillwell, home of the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest that takes place on July 4th weekend.

I would absolutely rate it as one of the best beaches in the city, serving a big part of the citys population. Puerto Rican Day Parade is celebrated here with great honor and lots of delicious food!

Fort Tilden Beach Queens Another Incredible Beach In Nyc
Fort Tilden Beach is another calm beach in Queens, NY that most tourists wont know about.
Its next to Jacob Riis Park Beach, but its harder to get to, so its a more secluded alternative. The parking lots at Fort Tilden require a permit, so most people walk or bike the half-mile from Jacob Riis Park. If youre up for a hidden adventure, Fort Tilden Beach will welcome you with open stretches of sand, minimal crowds, and the lulling sound of the surf.
