In the heart of Times Square is the New Victory, New York Citys first and only full-time performing arts theater for kids and families. Performances are appropriate for kids 1 1/2 years old and up to 12 years old.

Midtown Comics is a comic book and toy marketplace and it is open late! This colorful store is fun to visit even if you arent a huge comics fan.

There Are 13 Secret Apartments Hidden Above Nyc Libraries
About 100 years ago, people used to live in hidden apartments above New Yorks public librariesand some of them still remain.
Today, the secret spaces look more like haunted houses than actual apartments. The custodians who used to care for the libraries furnaces lived above the books until electricity made them obsolete, and most of their abodes have been turned into storage areas. But some of them remain eerily empty.
The top floor of the Fort Washington branch is still abandoned, with peeling paint and a rusty dumbwaiter shaft. The three-bedroom apartment is no longer used for residents, but you can try to sneak a peek in the third-floor windows from the street.
Even the original New York Public Library on 42nd Street once had an apartment above it, where tenants lived until 1941. But these secret spots wont remain empty foreverthe rooms above the Washington Heights library are opening again as an expansion very soon.

If you ask Dr. Scott T. Reeves, operating rooms resemble an airplane cockpit. There is sophisticated equipment, tight spaces, blinking lights and a cacophony of sound.
On top of that, theyre often cluttered, people can trip, surgeons and nurses can stick themselves with needles, and site infections from dust and other contaminations are a growing problem, said Dr. Reeves, chair of the department of anesthesia and perioperative medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
When he became involved with the design of the operating rooms at the R. Keith Summey Medical Pavilion, part of the childrens hospital of the university, Dr. Reeves focused on how to make surgical suites more accommodating for technology including imaging machines and robots as well as staff and patients.
Dr. Reevess actions are part of an increasing recognition that hospitalsare human centered, said Anjali Joseph, the director of the Center for Health Facilities Design and Testing at Clemson University, who worked on the design for the ambulatory center that opened in 2019. We cannot think of patient safety without thinking about the health of everyone in the room. They are interlinked.
Where Is Times Square
Times Square is not really a square. What is technically Times Square is the four quarters created where 7th Ave. and Broadway intersects in Midtown Manhattan.
However, most New Yorkers refer to the larger neighborhood as Times Square, which stretches north and south from 40th St. to roughly 52nd St. and east and west from 8th Ave to 6th Ave.

Founding Of Rooms To Go
Rooms To Go was founded in 1990 by Jeffrey and Morty Seaman after selling Seaman’s Furniture. They opened the first Rooms To Go in Orlando, Florida on September 7, 1990. Rooms To Gos founding concept was the sale of whole room packages, using the slogan: Buy the piece, save a little. Buy the room, save a lot! Furniture was offered in predesigned rooms, targeted at consumers looking to save both time and money, without sacrificing quality, when shopping for home furnishings. Jeffrey Seaman envisioned a different merchandising approach that reflected his experiences as well as successful trends in retail, not necessarily the furniture business alone. This included trends such as bright, colorful stores, large glass walls, and a friendly atmosphere. Seaman was comfortable sharing authority and information leading to the assembly of his executive management team. Throughout this time, Morty Seaman took on an advisory role to his son which Jeffrey Seaman has said was essential to the early success of the company.

Wilson County State Back New Rooms To Go Off I
Wilson County has approved a six-year tax abatement for a new Rooms To Go warehouse off Interstate 840 that is expected to bring approximately 200 jobs.
Rooms To Go announced plans earlier this year to utilize a 900,000 square foot warehouse that will include a 40,000 square foot retail outlet store as the furniture company went through the permitting process in Wilson County.
Wilson County’s abatement is for real property, and about 85% personal property, and applies to the warehouse portion of the project only, Joint Economic & Community Development Board of Wilson County Director G.C. Hixson said.
The retail outlet store is not included in the abatement, Hixson said.
Wilson County’s abatement is estimated to total about $3.4 million over the six year term. Local sales tax revenue is estimated at $177,000 per year.
“The project not only provides career employment opportunities, but also accelerates retail growth along Interstate 840,” Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto said in a news release.
The state also intends to provide financial incentives, with details expected to be available within 30 days, said Carly Schroer of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
