We went to check in and the place was shut down. We had made reservations weeks in advance and we received ZERO notifications that the place was going to be closed. I went across to the Home 2 Suites to see what they had available since it was about 9 PM and they said that the Hampton Inn had transferred our stay to them. Again, that was nice but NO ONE notified us. What if I had not physically walked over to them to inquire about a room? What would have happened?Totally unsat and for being a military retiree and coming from a different state, not very nice at all. We came in for a small wedding that had been postponed twice due to COVID19.We are glad the Home 2 Suites took us in but not to receive any notifications about the closure of the Hampton Inn, it was not professional at all.
