World famous Brooklyn Brewery wanted to bring the IPA haze craze into their neighborhood. While well established in America, in other global markets Hazy IPAs have a less mainstream status, often only enjoyed by craft beer connoisseurs. Brooklyn Brewery’s mission was simple: take juicy, tropical, deliciously Hazy IPA to the masses.
Inspired by Pop Art – the New York movement spearheaded by Warhol and Lichtenstein to make art accessible to all – our concept was born. We combined the worlds of art and beer to create Brooklyn Pulp Art: Hazy IPA for the people.
Mashing up two New York icons, we gave the Brooklyn badge a pop art makeover. Inspired by Lichensteins signature style of thick black lines, clashing colours and a healthy number of polka dots , Pulp Art started to pop with its fun and fruity new look.
Our bold background pattern matches the beers bold flavour palette with juicy crops of stylised fruit. Striking secondary patterns, in-your-face typography and a liberal use of exclamation points puts Pulp Arts tropical, juicy refreshment on repeat again and again and again across advertising.
Brooklyn Brewery Launches Brooklyn Pulp Art Hazy Double Ipa
BROOKLYN, NY Following up on the success of their first widely distributed hazy IPA in 2021, Brooklyn Brewery is expanding their portfolio with the addition of the Brooklyn Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA , a powerful spin on the original Pulp Art Hazy IPA. It is a supersaturated version of the original modern masterpiece, strikingly familiar, yet with a new take on the tropical notes and soft finish. And just as the Pop Art movement created big, bold art for everyone to enjoy, Brooklyns Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA is truly a double hazy IPA for the people.
The Double Pulp Art brings more of what we all loved about our original Pulp Art, bigger bolder flavors, juicier aromas, a rounder palate and bracing bitterness to balance it all out, describes Brewmaster Garrett Oliver. Its flavors range towards the tropicality of pineapple and stone fruit flavors, especially peach and apricot. The combination of the hops with our special yeast strain produces rich aromatics and depth.
Brooklyn Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA has a profile that is hazy, soft and powerful, with notes of fresh pineapple, vivid passion fruit, and featuring Citra, Sultana and Sabro hops perfectly paired with everything from tacos al pastor, rich fruit preserves, salty feta cheeses, miso glazed salmon, and habanero salsa.

Our brand new masterpiece Brooklyn Pulp Art Hazy IPA is popping up on shelves and in fridges across the country, adding a tropically hoppy splash of color to our year-round lineup.
Just as the Pop Art movement created big, bold art for everyone to enjoy, Pulp Art is a hazy IPA for all. This delicious blur between beer and art delivers bright notes of pineapple juice, ripe mango, and tangerine pulp from Citra, Strata, and Simcoe hops, with a refreshingly smooth finish to welcome everyone from haze aficionados to tropical hop newcomers.
Pulp Art was developed by Brewmaster Garrett Oliver and his brewing team to bring some haze to our delicious IPA range, including our world-traveling East IPA to our latest Special Effects IPA. He says, Pulp Art delivers all the flavors were looking for in hazy IPAs, with a really pleasant balance at 6.5% ABV. Ive been enjoying it with spicy foods that tropical flavor and gentle sweetness work beautifully with spicy Thai dishes, hot Indian curries and sauces, and the fiery side of Mexican food. Its also perfect with barbecue, with enough bitterness to cut through the richness of the meat while the fruity notes work with all the various barbecue saucesor just salt and pepper if youre from Texas!
