Hotels With Brooklyn Bridge View

Enjoy Views Of An Iconic New York City Landmark

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge NYC Stay – Best View of Brooklyn Bridge & Park

The Brooklyn Bridge is certainly not to be missed as a stop when you take a tour of New York City. Instead of just visiting this iconic landmark once and then not seeing it again, why not book a hotel instead that would allow you to enjoy glimpses of it throughout your stay in the city? Take a look at these best hotels near Brooklyn Bridge and see which one will not only ensure you a good nights rest, but also nets you with great views.

Spacious Rooms With Urban

New York City isn’t known for space, but the rooms here are large by city standards, an effect which is only heightened by the walls of windows in every unit. Those windows are a key design feature, particularly because the majority of rooms have at least partial views of the Brooklyn Bridge. Of course, paying for upgrades will merit direct, full-frame views of Lower Manhattan’s skyline and the bridge as well. Depending on the occasion, this might be worth the splurge.

Nice scenery aside, the rooms themselves are something to admire. The look is equal parts bohemian and urban, where industrial design elements blend seamlessly with reclaimed wood, hand-knit blankets, and what essentially amounts to living art installations rendered in moss. The emphasis on staying green isn’t hard to miss. Even entry-level King Rooms have both banquette seating and windowside chair seating, with suites featuring separate living areas.

Amenities At 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge comes with a bunch of amenities as well. Theres an amazing rooftop with a pool for pool parties during the summer and has an amazing view of the Manhattan Skyline. There is also a lounge that has a very minimalist approach that Beyonce actually rented out one time. They designed the lounge to be very dark so the guests can focus on the view with the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is also a screening space and a gym available .

We live overseas and often visit Brooklyn to see family. 1 Hotel B B is our favourite place to stay. It manages so well to uphold its eco standards whilst providing luxurious accommodation. This last stay was for a particularly special family celebration, and Eszter Toth, the concierge did everything possible to make sure it was a success in every way. Thank you all, well be back!

Went Relatively Early In The Day So There Were Not Too Many

Marriott Brooklyn Bridge – Room wih Bridge View? – Hotel Review – Brooklyn, NY

Went relatively early in the day so there were not too many people. Liked taking the metro to Brooklyn and walking across to Manhattan to see the skyline. Short walk to Mot street and Chinatown, then up Mulberry street to Little Italy and into Soho

Gorgeous room with TWO terraces! Very clean and modern with warm color schemes. Shower had good pressure and there were ample towels provided. However we could not enjoy a cigar outside on the terraces! What?!!! Not the best area if you’re a tourist. Although we had the terraces, the views were old, dilapidated, and trashy industrial buildings. Hopefully this is anbup and coming area of Brooklyn. I would be remissed if I did not mention the beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge at night which illuminated in the most beautiful colors!

The Decor 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

The area that the hotel is located in now used to be filled with warehouses and was mainly used for industrial purposes. You can still see some of the warehouses that used to occupy the area. A lot of it has either been torn down or renovated and turned into condominiums and workspaces.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge does an amazing job of utilizing pieces from the past into the building itself. In fact, 55% of the hotel is recycled. The wooden tiles to the large industrial lamps are most likely recycled someway. Even rainwater is collected and used to water the plants that are placed all over the hotel.

The artwork and furniture are even sourced from local artists to show of Brooklyns talent. In addition, there are free fruits that are sourced locally available for guests to grab-and-go as they walk in and out of the hotel.

Worth Getting Out Of Bed For

Keep an eye on the hotels film schedule for a cosy night in the screening room, and try to catch the Lobby Farmstands monthly tasting event, which features food and drink from local farmers and artisans. Venture outside to stroll along the promenade, down to , a restored 1920s merry-go-round in a very modern glass house, or over to Brooklyn Bridge Park. Although a bit further south, Brooklyn Botanic Garden is also easily reached and well worth a nature-filled visit. Whiskey-lovers will enjoy a visit to Kings County Distillery, New York Citys oldest operating distillery. It would be shame to not take advantage of your bridge-side location and walk or cycle across the Brooklyn Bridge all that Manhattan has to offer is only a short subway- or ferry-ride away.

The Best Hotels In Nyc With A View

Looking for the best hotels in NYC with a view to stay at during your NYC trip? Weve got you covered!

For better , living in New York City can feel like living in a movie there are triumphant montages of running for the subway, laughing with friends over cocktails in a glamorous bar, staring into the middle-distance of the Hudson as the sun sets, crying on the street corner after a breakup, escaping a rainstorm in a bodega and making friends with the requisite Bodega Cat you get the idea.

A good part of the cinematic nature of New York is due to its unparalleled views theres a reason the New York City skyline is the definitive opening movie shot. And Id be lying if I didnt mention that I very regularly cue up Billy Joels New York State of Mind to play while approaching the city ona Greyhound bus .

The NYC skyline is iconic, and whether you live here or are visiting you should take full advantage of all its drama and splendor.

When visiting the city, one excellent way to incorporate this is by choosing a New York hotel with a view. After all, nothing is more of a letdown than arriving here only to find your hotel room is windowless or looks out directly into an air shaft.

Conversely, its very easy to feel like the protagonist in Succession while looking out of a wall of windows onto Central Park at night.

A Vibrant Dumbo Social Hub With Cool Eco

Bamford Haybarn Spa, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

DUMBO is a buzzing neighborhood, and the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge has made itself an integral part of its always growing social fabric. The hotel is more of a hub that blurs the lines between local hang-out spot and tourist destination. That impression starts right away. Intimate seating areas, reclaimed wood tables, living walls, a straight-out-of-Scandinavia cafe, and a handsome restaurant all share the ground floor, with people constantly coming and going — day and night. Despite all of this activity, the hotel’s main common areas don’t feel busy — instead, the vibe is always low-key and laid-back and very Brooklyn. You’ll spot locals tapping away on laptops and reading, and tourists meeting up with one another before heading off to dinner. Upstairs, things are a bit more of a New York scene. There, at the hotel’s beautiful rooftop garden bar, views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge are nothing short of stunning. Even on slow nights, there’s likely to be scant seating available, but that shouldn’t deter you as it’s easily the crown jewel in a hotel with many such gems. You’ll see a wide array of travelers here, from locals on staycations to couples, business travelers, and families.

Fantastic Rooftop Garden Terrace And Pool Plus Destination Dining And Great Fitness Options

Embracing its urban resort vibe, 1 Brooklyn Bridge is packed with amenities. The star of the show here is the rooftop garden terrace, with a bar, seating areas, a pool, and spectacular views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s a hot ticket and can get crowded on weekends, and private events mean parts of the rooftop may not always be open to the public. The cocktail menu includes cool only-in-Brooklyn offerings, and while prices aren’t low, it’s worth it for the romantic views. Back on the ground floor, the hotel also has an attractive coffee shop that buzzes in the mornings, plus a new American restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both feature outdoor terraces for when the weather is nice.

The hotel’s fitness center is compact, but features everything from a squat rack to cable machines and cardio options, though the property also offers a series of free classes . POE is the yoga venue, though it also provides boxing classes and various other cool fitness options. Not all classes there will be free for hotel guests. There’s a chic spa on-site for massages and treatments as well.

Right On The East River In Lively Dumbo Surrounded By Shopping Dining And Parks

In addition to its wealth of features, this 1 Hotel outpost has a prime location that’s perfect for travelers or those on staycations. The hotel sits right on the East River, which translates to stunning views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s also directly connected to Brooklyn Bridge Park, which hosts events like movies and concerts in the summer months. DUMBO is one of the city’s most upmarket neighborhoods, and you’ll find everything from an outdoor hipster market to luxury designers, national chain stores, and bespoke local retailers here. Cafes, restaurants, and bars are on literally every block, including local landmarks like Grimaldi’s Pizza. The closest subway station is either at York Street or High Street for F trains or A and C trains, respectively. Both around 10 minutes away on foot. Commutes into Lower Manhattan are literally one stop . It’s about 20 to 30 minutes to reach Midtown Manhattan on the subway, and 30 to 40 minutes to Williamsburg. There’s also a water taxi station just below the Brooklyn Bridge for those wanting to reach Manhattan via ferry. You’ll need at least 90 minutes for a trip to any of the area’s airports, though JFK is the easiest to reach by public transit using the A train and the AirTrain. Taxis may be faster, but there’s no guarantee thanks to NYC traffic.
