When Should I Visit Nyc For The Best Weather
If youre aiming to visit NYC during a season with pleasant weather, its best to schedule a trip from April to June or September to early November. In the spring and early summer, NYCs parks are in bloom and theres plenty of sunshine to go around. And during the autumn months, the fall foliage around the city is breathtaking.
Those who cant handle the cold Northern weather will also find summer in the city to be charming. However, temperatures can rise into the upper 90s, creating a scorching hot concrete jungle.
Although, if you can brave the cold, I highly recommend experiencing New York City in the winter. Theres nothing quite like being in the city as snowflakes fall or exploring one of the many parks blanketed in a sheet of snow. The winter months, while beautiful, also come with more travel delays due to weather. Be sure to plan in some wiggle room in case your flight is delayed.

If you love performing arts, you might want to go during peak theater and performing arts seasons, which happens during autumn, winter and early spring. The easiest time to find tickets for shows is in January and February when it is a bit quieter in New York City after the holiday rush and cheer as faded away.
Its also easy to find tickets in early autumn when all the summer tourists have left, which is when Broadway season begins. This makes it a great time to get tickets for shows that havent grown in popularity yet.
