Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co

Service Staff Is Excellent

Brooklyn Water Bagels (Phantom Gourmet)

Every time Ive been to Brooklyn Water Bagels in Lady Lake, Ive received excellent service. There have been a few issues with orders, but everyone on staff went out of his or her way to make things right. There were times when it was not even the fault of the sales associate! Im very happy to be a patron of this establishment.

Great coffee. Decent bagels. But horrendous service. I think they average half of all orders being wrong. Ive never walked out with a correct order. But the coffee is fantastic. If they didnt screw up constantly, maybe I wouldnt have cold food, long lines and…high prices.I suggest you go for the coffee and avoid the food completely.More

Delicious fast service, helpful friendly staff. I especially love the veggie cream cheese. Their bagel slicing machine was cool too.

I have been twice this week. Both times employees were wearing masks and putting on new gloves before handling the bagels. Also, clearly marked safe distances for waiting in line. And did I mention delicious food as always? Best bagels in South Florida are at…this location! One suggestion, please create a safe distanced area for customers to wait for their orders. On both of my past 2 visits there were customers leaning over the barrier talking on their phones 2 feet from the cash registers. Not safe for me while I place my order, especially since customers are not required to wear masks.More

Dine in or take out, Brooklyn Water Bagels starts with the best bagel in Boca. My favorite is the Black Russian with seeds. Everything is good and the prices are low.

This place is epic, the food is awesome, the staff is as cool as it gets, the outdoor area is dog friendly, and they even have bowls for them. The venue is always clean and just a really good vibe.

Great food. Being from New York it was nice to sit for a little and enjoy a brunch somewhere that felt a little familiar, fun decor helps it feel like a real New York deli. Food came out pretty fast and servers were very friendly….The coffee is amazing as well! Great spot for breakfast/ Brunch. Not too pricey and plenty of options for everyone. Will be coming back soon for sure!More

With a name like this what more could a Brooklyn girl ask for? Interesting story about these Bagels – they recycle the water in such a way as to make it taste like my favorite place! Brooklyn, NY!!! Clean, tidy. Stand in line, place your…order & pay, go fill your cup At the endless coffee pot. You are given a number & whether standing & waiting for your food or sitting at a table, your food order will be delivered to you. Scrumptious. – oh, & I will be back to try their Lobster Rolls. What? Lobster Rolls at a Bagel Store? They are well known for that so I will give it a shot – for dinner that is.More

Eggs on an everythig bagel were great. Almost more than one can eat in a single sitting. Coffee was above average. Several blends to choose.

Still the best bagels in the area. Very good service, friendly and fast. Like that they offer to slice the bagels for you… very helpful when you freeze them. Love the sesame and the poppy.

The best place in the area for bagels. Picked up a dozen mostly sesame, some poppy… my favorites. Love that they have a slicer and offer that service. My tip for keeping these fresh is to individually bag and freeze what you won’t use…in the next day… take out as needed, and you can even toast right from the freezer . They are fresh and perfect.Friendly, fast service.More

Still the best option for bagels in the Delray Beach area. Always fresh, sometimes right from the oven. Been focusing on the sesame lately. Fine service too.

This is the best bagel around. Fantastic, just a notch below the greats in NYC. I like that they will cut them for you too when you buy a dozen.TIP: Buy a dozen, put each bagel in an individual sandwich bag… freeze those you…will not use that day immediately. Take out as needed. This keeps them super fresh. Use within 6 weeks. Can even toast direct from the freezer. My favorites are the sesame and the poppy.Always friendly service.Enjoy!!More

My pick for the best bagel in the general area. Love the poppyseed and the sesame. Like that you can ask for them to cut them for you…. great when getting a dozen . Very nice staff.

Founder Of Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Files Multi

The founding company of The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. has filed a multi-million dollar civil action against several franchise owner entities and company board members, according to a press release issued by the plaintiff’s attorney, Robert Zarco of Zarco Einhorn Salkowski & Brito.

The suit, filed by Brooklyn Water Enterprises Inc. in the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Palm Beach County, Florida, claims that BWE’s founder, Steven M. Fassberg, was fraudulently induced and coerced by John Preston and other named defendants into a merger transaction while allegedly “orchestrating a series of allegedly illegal and highly unethical business maneuvers to deliberately and methodically take over majority control of BWE.”

“In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would ever find myself fighting for the company which I founded and having to protect the early shareholders on whose back the Brooklyn Water Bagel concept was built,” Fassberg, said in the release. “Prior to Preston’s involvement, BWE had virtually zero debt and approximately 12 million shares outstanding. It now finds itself with many more millions of shares outstanding, no franchise growth whatsoever, and minority shareholders’ interests having been rendered valueless.”

Among 12 direct and derivative causes of action, the complaint alleges:

  • Several violations of the Florida Revised Limited Liability Act.
  • Breach of fiduciary duty by the named company officers and directors.
  • Civil conspiracy.

Great But Needs An Urgent Change

Id give this app 5 stars in a literal heartbeat because of how easy and intuitive it is.. its also very fluid and works beautifully. That being said there needs to a be a section where I can specify for here or to-go or simply a special instructions section where I can make a request like that. A special instructions section already exists but its in a weird location and seems out of place . Once that fix is made Ill change my review to 5 stars immediately.
