Clean Rooms And Friendly Staff
We had an excellent experience during our recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Manhattan, KS. The hotel was conveniently located and the rooms were very clean. The best part of our stay was the nice and friendly staff, they went above and beyond to answer our questions, help us get around, and were just all around nice. We really appreciated the great hospitality…wish we could find that more often.

We stayed at this hotel during Thanksgiving holiday and only after it had great reviews and seeing it allowed big pets. At first impressions driving up I was surprised how dated the hotel seemed, based on the photos it seemed newer. I walked in and no one was at the reception desk, just a note stating they would return.The parking is not well lit and did NOT trust the surrounding neighborhood with my car sitting outside in the dark with no security. In addition to that the doors off the parking lot into the hotel are open 24/7 and do not require a key, which is a huge no no.We booked a suite and was impressed by the decor and bathroom upgrades, it was a nice surprise considering the rest of the hotel.

Excellent Location And Service
You can’t do better in Manhattan for location and service. The hotel is located across the street from the University, as others have said, and also is on the street that will take you to the mall and shopping areas. The staff are fantastic. Also, Houlihan’s onsite is probably THE BEST restaurant in Manhattan. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. What really peeved me was the WIFI service, which in the four days I was there, was very erratic and confusing to access. It was totally down for a day and a half, and the rest of the time, I couldn’t send e-mail because the signal was so weak. If you don’t care about internet service and you have expendable resources, I would highly recommend this hotel.More
