Passing through the mysterious pine woods, where you may see the rare red squirrel, is the vast asparagus farms leading to the beautiful Formby beach. Take a picnic with you, walk down the nature trails and notice the pine needle coated floor quickly change to sand. If you time it right, the beach is beautiful at sunset. You may pass a few quirky cafes on the way through Formby.
