How To Set Up A Phone Appointment
You cannot schedule a phone appointment with Social Security online. To set up a phone appointment with the SSA you can call 1-800-772-1213 between 8:00 am 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Or you can locate your local Social Security Office in Brooklyn, and contact their phone number. Once you speak to a live person, request a phone appointment with an SSA agent. You may need to leave your phone number to be contacted by a specific agent to schedule the appointment.

BROOKLYN, NY Earlier today, in federal court in Brooklyn, a 10-count indictment was unsealed charging Dr. Somsri Ratanaprasatporn, her office manager Leticia Smith, Bassam Amin, Omar Elsayed, and Yousef Ennab who are pharmacists, Michael Kent, Anthony Mathis, and Raymond Walker with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone and related crimes. Smith and Kent are also charged with money laundering in connection with their alleged efforts to hide the proceeds of their illegal oxycodone distribution operation. All eight defendants were arrested this morning and are scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon before United States Magistrate Judge Robert M. Levy.
