I lived in Manhattan Beach for 15 years, so I have seen it grow and change. The beach is one of the best in Southern California, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy: walks on the Strand that goes from Manhattan Beach to Hermosa Beach bike riding on the path that starts north in Malibu, and goes into Redondo Beach volleyball run or workout surf, boogie board, play in the water build sandcastles Visit the Roundhouse Aquarium on the pier Check out weekend free concerts in the area Sunsets are lovely. There are many great restaurants, and plenty of shopping. The movie theater is very nice. Manhattan Beach is a great vacation spot for families, couple, and groups. Whether you want to be active, relax or party, this sophisticated beach town has a lot to offer.

Love The Area How Clean The Beach Is And How Consistent The

Love the area, how clean the beach is and how consistent the waves are. Tons of sun shine. Tons of soft sand. It’s aing trek so pack light and be prepared for a workout. The parking is annoying. We shouldnt have to move so frequently or be blocked in or out by barriers and stuff. I wasn’t a fan of surrounding resturants. They were really over priced bc of the location. Good local bars in walking distance if that’s your style. People ignore the no swimming sign to much and its annoying. They go where the surfers are trying to catch waves.
