We love using flash to add an extra element to the reception photos. It really helps to capture the feeling of the party and the joy that everyone is experiencing.

As mentioned above, having a NYC Botanical Garden wedding allows you 3 venues to choose from. Each one has its own perks, so it is important to plan what you want ahead of time. First, Ill talk about the largest space.
The Garden Terrace Room consists of a main ballroom with elegant decorations and a great view of the gardens. There will also be a tent outside for outdoor activities, such as a cocktail hour or your ceremony. This venue can welcome anywhere from 120 to 300 guests.
Next, we have the Stone Mill, a charmingly rustic location deep in the gardens that overlooks the Bronx River. This is a great spot for more intimate ceremonies, capable of hosting no more than 90 guests. It would be perfect for a smaller wedding fully enveloped by the beauty of nature.
Finally, we have the Hudson Garden Grill. This venue doubles as a farm-to-table restaurant right in the middle of the Ross Conifer Arboretum. The Hudson Garden Grill is the perfect place for a small reception, and can serve up to 70 guests.

The establishment of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden over a century ago paralleled the modern development of New York City. Not much has changed to the concrete jungle that has come to define the cityscape. And thankfully, not much has changed to Brooklyn Botanic Garden since opening in 1911. It continues to be a designated green public space where people can come and get lost in the mesmerizing splendor of nature. It is no wonder then that the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is an in-demand venue for couples planning their wedding in New York City.

Outdoor Cocktail Hour At The Bbg Palm House
Cocktail hour was held outside by the lily pond. While the sun set and most of cocktail hour was in the dark, it created a paparazzi moment for their Brooklyn wedding photography. The Patina events team did a great job at creating a warm environment for the evening. We think the Patina Restaurant Group catering is just incredible and so do guests.
